Chanda Hinton Leichtle

Executive Director & Founder of The Chanda Plan Foundation. Ms. Hinton-Leichtle has her undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Denver.  She is an advocate for persons with disabilities and sits on many committees related to that population. She recently completed her Masters in Non-profit Management at Regis University.



Maggie is the Director of Operations for the Chanda Plan Foundation. She graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and a minor in Kinesiology.  She also continued her education at Regis by recently completing her Master’s in Non-Profit Management.  She has experience in both veterinary medicine as well as nutrition prior to joining the nonprofit industry, and wellness has always been a priority in both her personal and professional life.  She previously started with the Chanda Plan Foundation back in 2013; however, she moved to Texas for a year in 2015.  There she spent quality time with her family, and excelled in Resource Development for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.  She is excited to be joining the Chanda Plan Foundation once again as her heart never left the organization or Colorado.

Emma Gardner


Emma is the Development Associate for the Chanda Plan Foundation. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor’s in Speech, Language, and Hearing, Sciences and a certificate in Technical Arts & Media. She has years of experience advocating for mental health as an active volunteer with To Write Love on Her Arms. She is excited to be joining the Chanda Plan Foundation to support and drive growth and development.
